The Pigeon Master of Delancey Street
I saw the coolest thing as I was driving over the Williamsburg Bridge the other day… Above this building at the end of Delancey Street… I noticed a huge flock of birds circling overhead…Except, they never left the area. They just kept circling, and it soon became clear they were following something… That’s when I…
The Largest Pizzeria In The United States Is In A 19th Century Times Square Church
When you first come to Eighth Avenue between 43rd & 44th, it appears to be nothing more than a strip of touristy gift shops. Swing around the corner on 44th Street, and you’ll just find a row of restaurants. But look at this intersection from above, and you’ll see something unusual hidden from view… Nestled…
Walking The Streets of Europe in Manhattan
I love streets in New York that make you feel as far from the city as possible. Obvious examples include Washington Mews and Pomander Walk, but a third less noted example is one of my favorites: Centre Market Place in Nolita. Here, hidden in the shadow of the beautiful Police Building, a row of townhouses…
Aliens Have Landed At Bergdorf
No joke: this is one of the new spring window displays at Bergdorf Goodman. Yep, aliens have landed at Bergdorf Goodman, and they’re not alone. Frankenstein came along for the ride… …As did this raptor, and a number of other horror movie characters. So assuming you have a soft spot for horror movies as I…

Little Italy Dupes Another Tourist

no trump mortuary?
Oh, but just think about how much branding work went into each treatment of the TRUMP name!
How about the beginning of an Eddie Murphy film, that pretty bad too.
He won’t be trumped!
If you go to Lasker Skating Rink (and I imagine the other Trump rinks too) you can pay way too much for a bottle of Trump Water. His face is on the label too!
As of today (5/25/10), his face is on Snapple bottles. Snapple is across the street from my office in the Flatiron Building, giving away bottles of a new iced tea that was created by one of the contestants on Celebrity Apprentice. I was going to pass it by, but my wife pointed out that there’s not much free in this city, and I should grab one while they were available.
Great blog, BTW!
I can’t help but think of his heinous hair-piece when I see those curly tops to the “T’s”…
Would this also serve as a Trump Polling location?
